This station is situated on the summit plateau of Aonach Mor at 1185m elevation. It is operated by the Scottish Avalanche Information Service and provides temperature information to help with avalanche forecasting. The adjacent Met Office weather station provides wind information. Go here
NB. The Wet Bulb temperature is slightly different from the standard air temperature and is affected by both humidity and pressure. It provides a more accurate measure of snowpack stability development.
