NOTE!!! This site is within Vigra CTR 0-2500ft/0-762m asl and Hareid North (airsportsbox) so all flying must be coordinated with MØRE APPROACH tlf.: +47 74 82 58 00 (remember to call back when finished)
NOTE!! South of Roppehornet is Vigra TMA 2500ft/762m asl
Suited for soaring and thermals. Main landing(s) is the tiny road on the front of Studio Opdal, second is out of view below the launch, very easy accessible at Roppane.
This is farmland so please DO respect the landowners!!!
Yellow Area = Can be very well suited for soaring from Gåsneset and to Kvitneset (Hareid).
Green Area = Suited for soaring in front of the launch.
Note: On west, the great wall of Roppehornet and on the other mountain-ridge north of the valley you came up, is soarable.
If you go higher there is a ok launch for speedriding. Alongside the ridge down.
