Heng- / sjøtermikksted. 130 moh, 10-15 min å gå. Flybart på de fleste sørlige vindretninger, da fjord og fjell nesten alltid fører vind inn på start. Mest brukt på vinteren. Her må du være PP3 for å fly siden lufta kan være uforutsigbar og endre seg MEGET raskt til noe du ikke liker. PP2 kan fly hvis en instruktør har gitt seg utsjekk på stedet og senere er erfarne piloter til stede
som gir lov! Ersfjord er sannynligvis Norges beste vinterflysted på grunn av god sjøtermikk og vinder som nesten alltid står inn på start i vinterhalvåret.
