Diese Wetterstation wurde mit der freundlicher Unterstützung der RigiBahn (https://www.rigi.ch/ ) installiert. Sie wird von der Expraxis GmbH gewartet.
Vor dem SW Startplatz befindet sich eine lückenhafte Baumreihe. Bei Südwestwind reicht es normalerweise gut über die Baumreihe. Bei Westwind fliegt man am besten gleich links parallel entlang der Kuppe bis man genügend Höhe hat um Richtung Goldau zu fliegen.
Der SO Startplatz befindet sich auf eine Kuppe gleich unterhalb des Kulm-Weges. Nach dem Start müssen einige Hügel überflogen werden. Schirm mit bester Gleitzahl fliegen und sobald man genug Höhe hat nach links über den Abgrund fliegen.
