Værstasjonen ble sett opp av OPK den 25. mai 2015. Brandbukampen ligger ved Randsfjorden, Gran/Hadeland, ca. 1 times kjøring fra Sinsenkrysset (Riksvei 4) med bilvei helt opp til start. Start (gressbakke uten stein el. stup) og landing velegnet for PP2. Typiske forhold i sommerhalvåret er hang og termikk, solgangsbris om ettermiddagen. Mange utelandinger, ingen fare hvis man skulle rote seg for langt bakpå.
Fra Sundvollen tar det ca. 50 minutter å kjøre, dvs. et godt alternativ hvis vindretningen blir for sørlig der.
