Paragliding and Hanggliding Site
Season: Spring, Summer, Autumn and rarely in winter.
West facing, (flyable between 245 - 335 Deg)
Site is low (80m top to bottom) with shallow angle, but can be surprisingly good.
Landing is small and slopes down to the west, with a powerline and main road at the low (west) end, best to visit landing before first flight, it is small for hanggliding, but there is an alternate to the west over the main road and a large powerline (it cannot be reached on glide from launch). Top Landing for PG is relatively easy.
This is one of the best XC sites in Israel.
Can be quite rough during the middle of the day, and not for inexperienced pilots during those hours. Evening glass-off (thermic) is common from March to September, giving a few hours of good smooth flying till sunset.
