The station is mounted on a container in the vicinity of the Svea research station. Atmosphere sensors are between 4 and 5 meters above ground. Due to the installation in March, soil temperature and moisture sensor is placed in snow and not in soil.
NOTE - surroundings of the station shown in the mapbox image are outdated. Svea settlement has been demolished with the exception of three small buildings that are used as a UNIS research station.
