The weather station is located on the top of the Blorenge (at SO272122 Lat/long: 51.803682, -3.0572170 What3words: force.orbited.fish) and approximates actual wind speed on the hill in all directions. Wind readings will usually be useful for most paragliding sites in south east Wales.

When temperatures drop below zero the weather statation freezes (wind direction freezes before the wind speed), just wait until it warms up a little.
